Operator feedback
Tactile metal domes, formed overlay feedback or a flat non-tactile response.
Drawing-based HMI manufacturing
A custom membrane switch combines a printed graphic overlay, spacer system, flexible or rigid circuit and mounting adhesive into one low-profile control interface. HYR FLEX reviews the complete assembly around the enclosure and operating environment rather than treating each layer as a separate catalogue item.
Engineering variables
Tactile metal domes, formed overlay feedback or a flat non-tactile response.
Printed silver circuit, FPC or PCB selected around routing, current and assembly needs.
Polyester or polycarbonate overlay, windows, embossing, textures and selective backlighting.
Perimeter sealing, venting, shielding, adhesive and enclosure land design are reviewed together.
Decision matrix
A useful quotation drawing identifies what each functional layer must do and how the finished assembly will be approved. The actual number of films, adhesive layers and optional features changes with the project.
| Decision factor | What it controls | What the RFQ should identify |
|---|---|---|
| Graphic overlay | Carries the visible legends, key areas, windows, texture and operator-facing protection. | Artwork revision, window and embossing geometry, surface finish, cleaning exposure and the evidence required for the selected film grade. |
| Feedback and retention | Provides or locates tactile feedback when the design uses metal domes, a formed overlay or another approved feature. | Feedback method, key centres, support beneath the key, any retainer construction and the mounted-sample approval target. |
| Spacer and air path | Keeps contacts separated until actuation and gives moving areas a controlled opening and air path. | Key openings, spacer geometry, vent route, edge boundary and any contamination or sealing condition that can affect movement. |
| Circuit and tail | Closes the electrical contact and routes signals to the equipment through the selected printed PET, FPC or PCB platform. | Matrix or schematic, conductor platform, pinout, tail exit, bend or support limits, connector mating part and functional test. |
| Optional functional layers | Adds only the functions the equipment needs, such as shielding, backlighting, windows, components, a gasket or a rigid backer. | Required function, available space, interfaces to adjacent parts, power or grounding boundary and the evidence used to approve the integrated result. |
| Rear adhesive and enclosure | Mounts the complete switch and may form part of the edge and tail-exit control at the equipment surface. | Enclosure material and finish, flatness and texture, clean bonding land, tail slot, supported area, assembly method and mounted-enclosure validation. |
This is a functional review order, not a fixed six-layer recipe. One film can perform more than one function, and lighting, shielding, domes, gaskets or rigid backers can change the stack. Freeze the exact materials, adhesive system, spacer geometry and interfaces only in the approved project drawing.

Real product evidence
Real product resource provided by Shenzhen Baoshengda Technology Co., Ltd., the parent company of HYR FLEX.
Representative product resource · project construction is confirmed from the approved drawing. Before the RFQ
Start with the evidence you have now. Open items stay visible for engineering follow-up instead of becoming silent quotation assumptions.
Yes. Send the latest sketch, marked-up drawing, artwork, photographs or physical-sample details. Mark dimensions, circuit, connector or material decisions that are still open; the first review should expose assumptions rather than hide them.
Use one current revision and state the outline and key geometry, circuit or pinout, tail and connector, mounting surface, environment, sample quantity and expected production range. Otherwise, suppliers may be pricing different constructions.
Confirm fit on the real enclosure, key feel, graphics and windows, circuit and connector function, adhesive contact and the open environmental risks. Convert the results into controlled drawing notes before repeat production.

Technical reference basis
These publisher resources support the decision framework. They do not prove that HYR uses a named grade, holds a listed certification or has approved a project construction.
Primary supplier context for surface condition, surface energy and adhesive contact; it does not select an adhesive for an HYR project.
Primary supplier context for the spacer function between circuit layers; the named product is not promised or approved for a project.
Primary supplier context showing conductive-ink use in flexible circuits and membrane switches; it is not evidence of the conductor used by HYR.
